Privacy Policy
Walking Through Solutions is firmly committed to maintaining the privacy, confidentiality and personal information of all individuals. We recognize your right to privacy and, in turn, accept the responsibility to keep the information you provide to us confidential. The law protects the relationship between a client and a therapist, and information cannot be disclosed without written permission. Everything that is discussed in therapy remains confidential.
Exceptions include:
Suspected child abuse or dependant adult or elder abuse, for which I am required by law to report this to the appropriate authorities immediately.
If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person/s, I must notify the police and inform the intended victim.
If a client intends to harm himself or herself, I will make every effort to enlist their cooperation in ensuring their safety. If they do not cooperate, I will take further measures without their permission that are provided to me by law in order to ensure their safety.
What personal data is collected, and why?
Contact forms are used on this website to allow you to get in touch with me regarding counseling inquiries, speaking events, interview requests, or any other question you may have for me.
The information collected includes your name, email, and your phone number is emailed directly to me and is also stored in a secure database. I will not disclose or sell your personal information to any third party. To further assure protection of your privacy, please do not include information about treatment or appointments in the contact form.
How contact information is used.
Any contact information submitted via the contact form on this site is sent directly to me to conduct follow up either via email or phone.
In certain cases where content is requested from me, contact information is used to deliver the requested content to your email inbox.
